In March 2010 after a visit to Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve in Pretoria I visited the Kimiad Golf Course (covered in chapter 29 of Birding Gauteng) and was delighted to gain access to bird the site even though I am not a member of the club. I spent about an hour exploring the site - venturing into the outlying bushy areas around the greens. Here are a selection of the birds that I saw:
